story of learning
jonathan escaped from the gang he was previously from a few minutes ago. that group of gangsters gave chase after him however he was just too fast for them.he had decided to leave this group and to continue his studies back in his formal secondary school.he turned back and realised that they were too tired to continue running.he slowed down and rested under the shady tree.remembering what happened a year ago...
"jonathan,you are expelled from this school!"the principle told him in a strict voice.he did not take it to heart and went on to join his gang.he did not even try to plead other schools to accept him.where are his parents to scold and chid him?you may ask. the answer is jonathan is an orphan,no one could be by his side to help him.although,his formal teacher miss lim had told him this phrase"you will not regret if you commit yourself to this learning process,however you will regret if you don't.before sucess fails you,you have already failed sucess."just before he stepped out of the school grounds.jonathan had once thought that this was just an ordinary phrase.little did he know it stayed,infact it lived,in his heart for a very long time until now.he sob uncontrollably upon remebering miss lim.he plucked up his courage and went back to his formal school to look for miss lim.upon seeing her,he told her this"i want to commit myself to this learning process.i will always remember:i will NEVER fail sucess before it fails me,although it NEVER does."both of them cuddled together and cried.jonathan managed to get back to his formal school.at first it was quite hard for him to adjust with the environment as he was older than his classmates by 1 year.he studied really hard as he wanted to do very well in his 'O'levels as well as 'A'levels.however,because of his learning attitude,he was well respected.
years passed,he got back his 'A'level results.he passed with flying colours,he even got a scholarship!he rushed to his secondary school just to thank miss lim personally and told her that he had achieved his goal and did not disappoint her and his parents miss lim was touched and was happy that he actually remembered her.this story tells us that,learning requires commitment and perseverance.do not fail sucess before it fails you although it never does.
